Why do you work in the field of personal performance improvement?
After a twenty year career in manufacturing and sales and with a home office full of self-help books, I wanted to work in an environment where I could combine my experience with knowledge to help people and organisations achieve more.
Who inspires you most in life and why?
Firstly, those who are genuinely happy in life irrespective of their situation and secondly, anyone who’s started a business from scratch and has gone on to make it a success.
What three words would best describe you?
Loyal, Positive, Punctual.
Where’s your favourite destination and why?
Carrow Road at 3pm on match days – passion, emotion, humour and opinions.
If you had a ‘super power’, what would it be and how would you use it?
I’d have a pair of steel wings like Batfink to protect people from the ‘mood hoovers’; those people who suck the life and energy out of a room.
Which book that you’ve read has had the most impact on you?
It’s a poem – ‘IF’ by Rudyard Kipling; every life lesson you’ll ever need.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
The combination of enjoying a pint of Adnams Ghost Ship with my wife and the sun on my face.
What one piece of advice have you learned from others that you would pass on to someone?
Advice to my son – Learn to sell and you’ll always have an income.
